Have you ever asked ‘What is Therapy and How Does It Work?’. Are you struggling with issues related to trauma, grief, depression, stress relationships, addiction, anxiety, or significant life changes? There comes a time when we may need some help from a qualified therapist to help cope with many of life’s challenges.
I’m a BACP registered therapist offering online therapy and counselling services to the U.K. and face to face sessions in West Cornwall. I trained in person-centred therapy – also referred to as person-centred counselling and client-centred therapy. I’d love to help you on your journey toward healing and self-discovery.
Sessions can benefit people in many ways and not only those with mental health issues. For example, they can help with difficult decisions, e.g. changing jobs or moving house.
“Billy has provided an open, non-judgemental, and comfortable space for me to explore why I fall into self-defeating cycles of negative thinking and see that my thoughts and feelings are of value and relevance. He has helped me break down these cycles, so that I have seen for myself how my ways of thinking manifested themselves and what steps I could take to break them. As I said, it can be tough and I did not always like ‘looking at myself’, but Billy’s patience and empathy has encouraged this.”
